SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — With the next presidential election just a couple years away, the Supervisor of Elections in Seminole County is looking to move out of its current facility.

Christopher Anderson said his building is too small to handle the need for the population growth and doesn’t give voters the service and election integrity required.

The building will be 20 years old next year and needs constant upkeep. The Supervisor of Elections said there are two years left on the lease.
Anderson said he will present plans to commissioners soon on a new building.

The new building would cost between $10 million and $12 million to build.
