Planning has begun for the project between Lakeview Street and Par Street through the College Park neighborhood. Work includes road resurfacing, reconstructing existing elements like sidewalks and curbs, as well as a new roundabout at Lakeview Street and raised pedestrian refuge islands among other pedestrian safety measures. The work covers roughly 1.5 miles.

Both the city of Orlando and Florida Department of Transportation are providing funds for the work, with construction amounting to more than $16.93 million from the two organizations. The improvements include all of College Park’s business district.
