BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The debut launch of ULA’s heavy-lift Vulcan Centaur rocket has been delayed again, this time because of a large explosion.

The company said it is now targeting June or July for its maiden flight.

ULA hoped to launch next month, but that was before a test article for the rocket’s upper stage exploded. ULA is still running down an apparent hydrogen leak.
The company also said the Vulcan Centaur will fly when it’s safe to do so, but all other developmental activities have been completed.
