SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A large alligator stopped traffic on State Road 417 early Wednesday.

Law enforcement officers worked to get the 11-foot gator off the road near Lake Jesup.
All lanes have reopened on the roadway. At one point, only one lane was open.

Gators are currently on the move as they are looking for mates and nesting sites.
