SeaWorld Entertainment Inc. on May 9 shared more about its goal to enter the hotel development game — something other major theme park operators already have been doing for some time now.

The company, which hosted its first-quarter 2023 earnings call today, said it will continue with its plans to expand its theme park operation portfolio to include hotels.
“We expect to have our first hotel opened in 2025, followed by our second hotel in 2026,” SeaWorld CEO Marc Swanson said during the call.
