TAMPA, Fla. — A school bus carrying children overturned in an early-morning crash in Tampa Friday.
Authorities said two boys and the bus driver had to crawl out to escape.
The driver of an Acura ran a red light and struck the right side of the bus, authorities said. The bus continued for about 50 feet before rolling onto its roof.
A fence outside the historic Centro Asturiano de Tampa building was damaged.
The children were not hurt, but the driver was taken to the hospital.
