ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — If you’re looking to drive your career forward, Orange County Public Schools could have the right opportunity for you.

The district’s Transportation Services department said it is still in need of bus drivers and mechanics for the current school year.
So OCPS is hosting a job fair on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Organizers said new employees could earn highly competitive salaries.
The district said bus operators may receive up to $10,800 in incentives and $16,000 in bonuses over the course of two years.
Here are some other incentives that OCPS is touting for prospective employees:
- $0 cost personal health insurance
- No weekends or late night shifts
- Paid holidays and 10 sick days
- Retirement packages through the Florida Retirement System

Saturday’s job fair will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It will be held at Pine Hills Transportation Compound, located at 5140 North Pine Hills Road in Orlando.
