Unlike the Daytona 500, the grandstands typically don’t sell out for the Rolex.

Track officials explained that’s because there is more capacity and flexibility in the infield, and for the past few years, they haven’t had to put any camping on sale because of a 100-percent renewal rate.

Assistant General Manager at the Hard Rock Hotel Michael Bartscher said the hotel sold out both Friday and Saturday nights.

“In addition to the Daytona 500, right after that, we get into Bike Week, and we are starting to see both weekends filling up really good, and after that, we roll into spring break, jeep beach, and then it’s just summertime,” said Bartscher.
