ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — It’s not every day you get to become a robot superhero, but the Orange County Sheriff’s Office granted a 10-year-old’s Make-A-Wish to become just that.
Gaige Pike was born with neoplasms and underwent heart surgery last year.
He loves science, playing with robots and most importantly, helping people.

The Sheriff’s Office granted his wish to become the ultimate superhero: ROBOGaige.
ROBOGaige’s three main objectives were to stop a bank robbery, put out a building fire and rescue someone from a collapsed building.
To begin his day full of crime-fighting, ROBOGaige started off by stopping a bank robbery.
He received a radio call that a bank robbery was in progress. Without hesitation, ROBOGaige rushed to the scene, with a little help from the SWAT team.

Next, ROBOGaige was called to put out a fire at Valencia College.
With the help of the Orange County Fire Rescue, ROBOGaige was able to do just that.
Once ROBOGaige put out the fire, he noticed a woman was stuck in the top of the building. He quickly sprang into action to help save her.
Finally, ROBOGaige’s last mission was to save someone from a collapsed building. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office got a call about a man who was trapped inside.
Of course, ROBOGaige came to the rescue and was able to save the man.
At the end of the day, ROBOGaige was honored by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for all of his heroic work.
