Ride on: Osceola County Silver Spurs Rodeo Parade honors 150th tradition

ST.CLOUD, Fla. — Over 75 people participated in the Silver Spurs Rodeo Parade in St. Cloud, officials said.

Saturday’s downtown parade featured winners from the St. Cloud Fat Boys restaurant and the Keystone Residential Group.

The parade honors the 150th edition of the Silver Spurs Rodeo, which will be held Feb. 17 through 19, where local cowboys compete in seven traditional events.

Groups like Big Bosses, Coca-Cola Cowboys, Lifetime Achievement and the Miss Silver Spurs winners also celebrated the 79-year-old history and traditions of the rodeo.

There will be Monster Bulls and extreme bull-riding experiences at the Silver Spurs Arena at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $20, and children ten years and younger can ride free with a paying adult.
