Bracy drafted a lawsuit claiming Thompson doesn’t live in Orange County’s District 15.

He claims she only owns one home in Windermere and not in the district.

“You can register anywhere you want. But the law requires you to live in the district, and she doesn’t,” Bracy said.

Thompson fired back saying Bracy is copying a similar accusation made against state representative Bruce Antone.

“It was only after that, in a copycat fashion, he comes forward with this allegation,” Thompson said.

Bracy said he is considering dropping the lawsuit if he were to sit with Thompson.

Both are running for District 15′s state senate seat this year.
