Ready-to-go: These pups are free to adopt in Orange County until tomorrow

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County Animal Services is waiving adoption fees for “ready-to-go” dogs through the end of the month.

That means more than 100 dogs are free to adopt through Wednesday.

The shelter said adopters will still be vetted before they’re able to adopt a dog.

The shelter said the fee to adopt was previously already discounted to $25. Officials said that savings leaves an adopter with enough extra money to buy food, a toy or two.

“It will literally cost you nothing to change a life, and save one,” officials said.
