A new-to-Central-Florida chicken chain is in serious talks for at least two future locations more than nine months after it was revealed the company wanted to expand here.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers reportedly is considering a location near the Loop West Shopping Center in Kissimmee and near Lake Nona at Narcoossee Road and Vickrey Place, real estate sources told the Orlando Business Journal.
The chicken chain hired JLL on Aug. 12 for its Central Florida expansion.

A JLL representative wasn’t available for comment and no lease has been signed.
A Raising Cane’s representative told the OBJ the company is pursuing “multiple” restaurant sites in Orlando, but declined to confirm specific locations as negotiations are ongoing.

Raising Cane’s previously was expected to open five to 10 Central Florida restaurants.
