ORLANDO, Fla. — Storms fired back up Thursday afternoon.
Chief meteorologist Tom Terry said 1 to 3 inches of rain is expected to fall in Central Florida through 8 p.m.
Terry said the rain is coming from an active seabreeze and some additional moisture left over from Hurricane Idalia.
He said you can expect another active day weather-wise Friday as another 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is in the forecast.
But drier air will arrive during Labor Day weekend.
