Rain and storm chances increase this week in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — We’re starting the work week with mild temperatures and a few showers, and more rain is likely later Monday.

Steady onshore winds from the Atlantic will once again bring scattered showers to the area, with the highest chance along the coastline.

Highs for Monday will climb into the low 80s.

Rain chances will continue overnight, with the heaviest activity right at the coast.

Morning lows will be in the mid-60s.

More moisture arrives for Tuesday, bringing even higher rain chances to the area. A few thunderstorms will also be possible, with highs in the low 80s.

Our highest rain chances will be Wednesday as a cold front approaches the area.

Showers and thunderstorms will be likely Wednesday as the front moves through our area.

Cooler and drier weather is expected late week behind the front, with temps in the mid to upper 70s.
