Rain chances stick around before cold front drops temperatures this week

ORLANDO, Fla. — More rain and showers are expected Tuesday in Central Florida.

A foggy and warmer start to Tuesday morning will be followed by more afternoon rain and storm chances.

Scattered rain activity will again roll in off the Atlantic, with coverage slightly higher than Monday.

A few rumbles of thunder will also be possible, with highs in the low 80s.

The showers will likely continue Tuesday night, especially at the coast.

Even more moisture moves in for Wednesday, increasing rain chances further.

A few storms may also develop during the evening hours, with temps in the upper 70s.

A cold front moves in on Thursday, with a few showers during the morning hours.

Temps for Thursday will be in the upper 70s.

Drier and cooler air moves in to close out the week, with sunshine on Friday and highs in the mid-70s.

Even cooler temps are expected for the weekend, with highs only in the 60s.
