‘Project Impact’: Students show appreciation to teachers who changed their lives

LAKE NONA, Fla. — As students look forward to crossing the stage at graduation, some of their teachers are sad to watch them go.

Hundreds of teachers across Orange County will receive letters from graduating seniors letting them know how they have impacted their lives.

It is called “Project Impact: Teachers Change Lives.”

One student from Lake Nona High School shared with Channel 9 her letter to a former teacher at North-Lake Park Community School.

“It was an assignment we had to do,” Hannah Juda said. “Because she has impacted me the most throughout my life.”

Juda said she has not found her career path yet but would like to one day be a real estate agent.
