SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket blasted off from Cape Canaveral on March 2, carrying four astronauts to the International Space Station — but it’s only the start of Central Florida launch activity this month.
The biggest 3D-printed object in history, dozens of satellites and another crew of astronauts are scheduled to lift off from Brevard County in the coming weeks, according to Kennedy Space Center and a list maintained by the Space Coast Office of Tourism.
After a record 57 launches from Florida’s Space Coast in 2022, this year is off to a busy start at the aerospace industry hub at Cape Canaveral, where Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station operate launch pads.
