SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — For the dozens of drivers whose vehicles were damaged Tuesday night when they hit a pothole that opened up on I-4, a website is available to file a reimbursement claim.
The public incident reporting form is available through the I-4 Ultimate Improvement Project website: Click here to file a claim
The paperwork also allows room to write down additional information. It is recommended that those affected provide two repair estimates when submitting a claim, plus pictures, videos and, if possible, a police report.
Multiple vehicles were damaged after the pot hole opened up in the center westbound lane of I-4 near Longwood, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Several agencies were dispatched just after 10 p.m. to mile marker 94 after the pothole opened up, the Highway Patrol said. It was estimated that as many as 30 vehicles were damaged, according to the Highway Patrol.

Frances Paskey, who is visiting Orlando, was among the drivers affected. It’s expected to cost her hundreds of dollars.
“It wasn’t a little thing, it was something big,” Paskey said. “I’m going, ‘Oh my God.’ The week before we came, I just bought four new tires. So two tires are gone (as well as) two rims.”
Repairs will be made overnight and the two westbound lanes will be closed. The process is expected to happen between midnight and 5 a.m.
