ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A man was arrested Saturday after he threatened to shoot Black Lives Matter protesters in a post on Facebook, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office received information from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office that Alex Bancroft, 30, made the post on his account.
Officials said after others commented on the post that Bancroft wouldn’t actually commit the act of violence, Bancroft replied “keep ur eyes on Fla news.”

An arrested warrant was obtained Saturday, deputies said.
Bancroft was later arrested by Orange County deputies after he left the area for Orlando.
He is facing charges of written threat to kill or do bodily injury. He is currently booked at the Orange County Jail awaiting transfer back to Hillsborough County, deputies said.
