Police: Motorcyclist killed in crash along Colonial Drive

ORLANDO , Fla. — Police are investigating a fatal crash between a car and motorcycle in Orlando Tuesday morning.

Orlando Police investigating fatal motorcycle crash (WFTV)

Officers said the crash happened just after 8 a.m.

Police shut down the westbound lanes of Colonial Drive near Ferguson Drive for several hours while officers investigated the crash.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital, where he later died.

There were no other injuries.
