LADY LAKE, Fla. — Lady Lake police released new details Monday about what led up to a deadly shooting inside an Applebee’s in The Villages earlier this month.
Lady Lake police said Dishaun Hudson got into an argument with a man and woman in the parking lot of the restaurant and fired shots into the air as they drove off.

Investigators said Hudson then went inside the restaurant and demanded to know who called the police.
Police said a customer with a concealed weapons permit said he was in fear for his life when he shot Hudson after Hudson reached into his pants. Hudson died from his injuries.

Police said they have not found Hudson’s gun.
The state attorney’s office will decide whether charges will be filed in the case.
