ORLANDO, Fla. — Police in Orlando are investigating after a fight turned deadly Tuesday morning.

6:39 a.m. update:
Officers said a fight between two people left one person dead.
Police did not say what led to the fight and did not give details about the victim.
Officers said they believe the fight was between two “transients in the area.”
CSI units and homicide detectives are actively investigating.
Channel 9 has a crew working to gather more information and will provide updates on Eyewitness News.

Police in Orlando are investigating a large and active crime scene Tuesday morning.
Orlando police responded around 3:22 a.m. to an incident next to the street in front of a McDonald’s restaurant on West Colonial Drive near John Young Parkway.
When Channel 9 arrive to the scene, there was an ambulance and around 12 Orlando police cruisers.
One officer was seen speaking with a McDonald’s employee at the drive-thru window.
Police have not shared any details on the incident and it’s unclear if the situation involved the restaurant.
