TAVARES, Fla. — Police are conducting a death investigation along Main Street in Tavares.

Tavares Police Department reported early Monday that officers were situated in the stretch between North New Hampshire and Rockingham avenues.
The agency said police tape was blocking the area and asked motorists to find an alternate route.
“Preliminary findings do not show foul play and lead us to believe that this is an isolated incident,” TPD posted on its Facebook page.
The department said its CSI unit responded overnight to further investigate the death.
