WINTER PARK, Fla. — Two people were killed Wednesday afternoon when they were struck by an Amtrak train, the Winter Park Police Department said.
Police said the crash happened shortly before 11:45 a.m. at Palmetto and Cypress avenues near North Orange and South Orlando avenues.

SunRail service between the Winter Park and Sand Lake Road stations, which serve trains P317 and P318, has been canceled, the Florida Department of Transportation said.
FDOT officials said buses are being provided to help SunRail riders travel between the two stations.
No other details were given.
