Lockdown lifted at Pine Hills Elementary School

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A standoff at a home near the school forced a lockdown at Pine Hills Elementary School Monday afternoon.

SWAT members from the Orange County Sheriff's Office, along with deputies, worked to get a suspect to come out of a house near the intersection of Balboa Drive and Governors Avenue.

Deputies were attempting to serve a search warrant at the house when the standoff began.

Around 3:30 p.m. deputies took a man into custody and the lockdown at the school was lifted.
