ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Police Department said a man is dead after he was shot in the parking lot of a car rental business near Orlando International Airport.

Officers were called to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Hangar Boulevard just after 7 p.m. Saturday for reports of shots fired.
Officials arrived to find the victim, identified as Justin Harper, 26, with a gunshot wound.
Airport officials said the business is more than one mile from the main airport terminal.
They confirmed the shooting had no effect on any flights or airport operations
No arrests have been made. Investigators are still working to find more information regarding the shooting.
Officials said this is the 18th homicide of 2019 and the 17th murder. Last year at this time, there were 34 homicides and 32 murders.
