NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — One person was detained after a stabbing on a New Smyrna Beach boat ramp, according to police.

It happened Friday on a boat ramp on the north causeway.

One person is being detained, police said. The stabbing victim is alive and was transported to the hospital.
