Investigators said she also called 911 to report a fake home invasion.

The two victims were Julia’s mom, Kelley McCollom, and her mother’s boyfriend, Matthew Szejnrok.

Police said Egler told them she was hiding in her room as an unknown man broke into the home and attack the couple.

Egler told police she believed the intruder was inside of the home and later attacked McCollom and Szejnrok.

Police said Egler told them she later exited her bedroom and found the couple dead.

Investigators said evidence at the scene did not add up with Egler’s claims and she later confessed to the murders.

According to a report, Egler told police that the murders came after “many disagreements in the previous weeks.”

Police said Egler told them she “was not happy with the fact that Kelley was not very accepting of her transition, and she also did not like that Kelly was dating Matthew who was 22 years old.”

Officers said Egler was arrested and is facing two counts of premeditated first-degree murder.
