OVIEDO, Fla. — Oviedo city leaders are trying to find money to build a new police station.

An overwhelming majority of people who took the city’s survey about the cost of the building said they aren’t willing to pay another dime for it.

The survey was sent out after another referendum effort failed in November.

The city already has more than 11 million dollars on hand but said it needs more than that.

Those who responded to the survey said the city spends too much time complaining about being short on funds and needs to work within its budget.

The survey will be discussed tomorrow night.
