CASSELBERRY, Fla. — The Seminole County Fire Department said one cat has died following a house fire Saturday morning.

Seminole County firefighters responded to a home in Casselberry for the fire call.
Fire crews contained the fire in the kitchen.

Investigators said one person was transported to a hospital as a precaution.
Firefighters saved many animals from the fire, including two dogs, three cats and reptiles.

But one cat did not survive.
Longwood firefighters also helped to battle the fire.
According to the fire department, the American Red Cross of Central Florida will help the residents recover.
