OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Officials with the Osceola County School District say they’re in dire need of more bus drivers.

In an effort to hire more, the Transportation Services Department is hosting a job fair later this month.

The school district currently has 36 bus driver positions available.
The job fair to hire more drivers will take place on January 25 at the Transportation Services Compound on Simpson Road in Kissimmee.
No previous school bus driving experience is required. If hired, the new drivers will receive paId training towards a commercial driver’s license.
The job fair starts at 8 a.m. and ends at noon.

Applicants will be asked to provide their driver’s license, social security card, and three years of driving records.

According to the school district, approximately 26,000 Osceola County students rely on their transportation department to get them to and from school.
