WATCH: Kissimmee man accused of inciting brawl at Miami airport

MIAMI, Fla. — A Kissimmee man is accused of inciting a brawl at the Miami airport on Monday.

Mayfrer Serranopaca, 30, is accused of getting into a fight with police officers, allegedly biting one officer on the head, after his charter flight was delayed.

Officers said Serranopaca stopped a golf cart driving through the concourse and sat on the hood, refusing to move and demanding information about his flight. He is accused of ripping the key out of the golf cart’s ignition, breaking the key in half.

According to an arrest affidavit, when officers arrived, Serranopaca attacked an officer, biting him on the head and inciting other passengers nearby to join in the brawl.

Serranopaca is facing eight charges including aggravated battery on a police officer, burglary and inciting a riot.

Alberto Yanezsuarez, 32, was also arrested at the airport after officers said he obstructed officers from taking Serranopaca into custody.

Officers said Serranopaca complained of feeling ill and arm pain, and was treated and released on the scene by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
