1 hospitalized after train strikes vehicle in Kissimmee, police say

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Officials are investigating after a car was struck by a vehicle in Kissimmee early Monday morning.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. near Beaumont Avenue near the Osceola County Courthouse.

The crash impacted SunRail service on the area as the crash was investigated. Officials said that two northbound trains that were coming from Poinciana have had their morning runs cancelled.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital in stable condition, according to police.

Two employees aboard the train were uninjured.
