OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — An investigation is underway after a driver crashed into the side of a fire truck in Osceola County.
The crash happened at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in front of Station 64 on Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee, the Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS tweeted.

The tweet said engine 65, which was dispatched to respond to an automatic fire alarm call, was leaving the station and was hit by a SUV that had went around stopped traffic at the intersection.
No firefighters were injured in the crash. One of the people inside the SUV was airlifted to the hospital.

The Florida Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS urges drivers to be alert around first responders and always obey traffic signals.

Another fire unit was dispatched to the original call.
