KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The Salvation Army is working to help dozens of people living at a struggling motel in Osceola County.
The Star Motel in Kissimmee has been struggling to keep its power on, but The Salvation Army is trying to help those who live there by giving them things they need.
Osceola County Commissioner Peggy Choudhry said it is needed because these people still living there are pooling money to keep the power on.
Residents are being provided gift cards and other items to help them.
Meanwhile, county officials are also looking for a long-term solution.
