KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The property management company that has been the subject of 9 Investigates for months amid turmoil inside Turnberry Reserve is out.
The move came out of a board recall meeting Wednesday afternoon.
Channel 9 has been covering the back and forth between people who live in the Turnberry Reserve neighborhood and Management 35 Firm, which manages the community on behalf of the HOA. Homeowners back in October announced they were suing the management company and HOA board.
Residents voiced concerns about Management 35 owner Sherry Raposo-Boyd’s longtime boyfriend and hired security manager, ex-cop-turned-felon, Joseph Conover, patrolling the subdivision.
“I know a lot of you don’t think I’ve been listening, but we have. And as of today, Management 35 (is) no longer. We’re letting them go,” HOA Board President Diana Boyd said during the meeting inside a hotel boardroom.
Her announcement was met with applause.

Raposo-Boyd at the meeting announced a 30-day notice for the company to turn over all records so a new manager can take over.
Conover was removed from his position after the state launched an investigation into him performing security services without a license. The investigation is still ongoing, meaning Raposo’s company could be in trouble for not having proper licensing, too.
The security guard, Ailyn Depena, was arrested at another special community meeting last fall will also receive a 30-day notice.
Homeowners told Eyewitness News they are cautiously optimistic about these changes. However, Raposo and Conover are still their neighbors, as they own a home inside the community.
