OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A pedestrian was killed while attempting to cross U.S. Highway 192 near a busy intersection in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened near the intersection of U.S.192 and Locksley Lane, just west of Poinciana Boulevard around 2:25 a.m. on Saturday.

Troopers said a Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on U.S.192 and hit a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the road.
The 56-year-old Kissimmee man was not in a marked crosswalk, according to troopers.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Camry remained at the scene and was not transported to the hospital.
