Through the CARES Act, along with the American Rescue Plan Act, the county has received about $37 million to give people to help pay their mortgages, rent and utility bills.
No matter how much you make, there’s still about $15 million up for grabs.
“Whether you were working at Disney and your annual salary was $30,000, or maybe you were at a restaurant and made six figures, you can still receive funds if your household was impacted,” said Danicka Ransom, who works with the Osceola County Human Resources Department.

So far, Ransom said, about 10,000 people have signed up but only about 3,500 are receiving funds.
That could be due to lack of proper paperwork.
While there are no income restrictions, you must be able to show you’ve been impacted by COVID-19.
