Deputies from Lee County, Osceola County working on missing child case near Yeehaw Junction, Sheriff’s Office says

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said it is following leads in a missing child case near Yeehaw Junction.

The Sheriff’s Office said it is working with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office regarding the Diana Alvarez case.

Alvarez has been missing since May 2016.

Lee County deputies detained Jorge Guerrero on June 4, 2016. Deputies said they believed Guerrero was a person of interest in the case but Alvarez was not with him.

No information about the case has been released since.
