KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Kissimmee police and firefighters, as well as many others, came together on Saturday for the annual St. Baldrick’s Rock the Bald event.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer and donor powered charity committed to supporting the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers.

The foundation said that donations have dropped during the pandemic.
Saturday’s event raised money by shaving people’s heads.

Osceola County Fire Rescue and EMS public information officer and drone pilot raised $1,500 in donations.
The event, which was organized by the Kissimmee Police Department and City of Kissimmee Fire Department, raised more than $25,000 in donations.
