OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — 5:15 p.m. update 12/13/2021:
Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez said deputies arrived to Natalie Gonzalez’s home in Kissimmee on Saturday and found her with a hammer and scissors in her hand.
Lopez said Gonzalez kept saying “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”

After they went inside, they found her mom lying face down in the shower. Deputies believe she was hit in the back of the head and had multiple stab wounds.
She told deputies she believed her mother was another family member who was out to hurt her.
12 p.m. Update:
Natalie Gonzalez did not appear in court as expected Sunday morning.
WFTV has learned that Gonzalez’s court appearance has been rescheduled for Monday.

According to deputies, 32-year-old Natalie Marie Gonzalez has been arrested for first degree murder for an incident involving her mother’s death.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death in Kissimmee.
The incident happened on the 100 block of Windy Dune Court in Osceola County.

According to deputies, they are interviewing a person of interest who is cooperating.

Deputies have not released any other information at this time, except to say this is an active and ongoing investigation.
