On Dec. 21, the car belonging to 31-year-old Miranda-Rosa was found abandoned in Wekiwa Springs State Park in Orange County.
A search of the park and surrounding area yielded no clues.
In early January, the sheriff’s office received a video taken by hikers that appears to show Rosa wading in the water at the park on Dec. 18.
Osceola Sheriff Marcos Lopez said that prompted deputies to return to the area with underwater cameras.

“She could’ve walked out of the water and went somewhere else, but we didn’t have this type of equipment and we’re going to utilize it today,” Lopez said.
Investigators said they do not suspect foul play.

Paola’s friends and family disagree.
“They have a best friend relationship,” family friend Bianca Aponte said of Paola’s relationship with her mother. “She would speak to her five, six times a day... text her all day.”

“She feels that something has happened,” Aponte said of Miranda-Rosa’s mother. “Her daughter would not just leave.”
Deputies said Miranda-Rosa has schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and threatened to harm herself in the past, but not recently.
