OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — An Osceola family is asking the public for help locating a missing woman who was last seen on Dec. 17.
Channel 9 spoke to the missing woman’s sister, Andrea Miranda, about why they believe foul play is involved.
“When we saw that her car was not there, the dogs were left untaken care of, we knew,” Miranda said. “She loves her dogs and would never leave them behind because they’re her babies.”

Deputies received a call on Dec. 19 from Ivonne Rosa who told deputies that she last saw her daughter, Paola Marie Miranda-Rosa, while visiting a relative in the Semoran Boulevard area.
Orange County deputies said they found her black 2011 Chevrolet HHR at Wekiwa Springs State Park.
Miranda-Rosa’s family told Channel 9 that her belongings were still inside the car.

According to deputies, approximately 150 law enforcement personnel from various agencies conducted an extensive search of the area.
“That whole area was searched, and she’s not there. So then it opens up so many other possibilities as to where could she be? You know, what happened to her? There’re so many questions unanswered,” Miranda said.
The missing woman’s sister said the family only became more concerned when she didn’t show up for Christmas.

“She wanted to be here for Christmas. It’s my baby’s first Christmas, her niece, she had toys ready to be given to her,” Miranda said.
Investigators followed up with other leads and are actively monitoring social media.
According to deputies, no foul play is suspected.

However, the family told Channel 9 that they are not convinced, and this is out of character for Miranda-Rosa.
“At this point, we’re expecting foul play as a family,” Miranda said. “We could feel something was wrong because she constantly communicates with the family.”
The family said they won’t stop searching until they find her.
“We will not give up. I know she’s out there. And we want you home Paola,” Miranda said.
