Cha-Ching! Osceola man wins $2 million in Florida Lottery scratch-off game

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — An Osceola man is a millionaire after winning $2 million in a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

Jesùs Betancourt Pizarro claimed the top prize from 100X THE CASH scratch-off game after purchasing his winning ticket from the Wawa at Narcoossee Road in Orlando.

The 62-year-old Kissimmee man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,645,000.00.

The store that sold the winning ticket will receive a $4,000 bonus commission.

The $10 game launched in January and features more than $337.9 million in cash prizes, including eight top prizes of $2 million.

Scratch-off games made up 75% of ticket sales and generated more than $1.3 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2020-21.
