Bomb threat cleared at local Publix, says St. Cloud Police Department

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Cloud Police Department responded at 11:30 am to a bomb threat at the Publix grocery store at 3372 Canoe Creek Rd.

The Police department worked diligently with the staff to evacuate the store in a timely manner.

“We are evaluating a threat made to the Publix,” said the St. Cloud PD. “Updates will follow.”

Ch. 9 headed to the scene to further investigate and provide updates. However, after a while, the Police Department informed the public that officers cleared the store, and no threat was found.

According to St. Cloud OPD, the scene has been cleared and the store has been open back to normal within the last 2 hours.
