Osceola county is about to roll out its “next gen 911″ software. It’s taken several years, but a new grant is making the change possible.
People who dial 911 might not see the difference, but it’s a game changer behind the scenes.

The secured IP is solely for public safety, so it will provide a more precise location and allow those behind the scenes to intake videos and texts.
