Osceola County pizza delivery driver stabbed pregnant woman in front of child, deputies say

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — An arrest report is giving new insight into a violent stabbing in Osceola County.

Deputies said Brianna Alvelo, 22, was working as a pizza delivery driver and attacked a woman because she was upset over her tip.

Investigators said Alvelo stabbed the pregnant woman 14 times in front of the victim’s child.

The incident happened Sunday at the Riviera Motel on US-192, east of Kissimmee.

Deputies said not only was the daughter there, but the suspect also pointed a gun at her.

Alvelo is currently in the Osceola County Jail on several charges, including attempted murder, and deputies are looking for a second suspect.

According to a report, the victim was in town to celebrate her boyfriend’s birthday, along with her 5-year-old daughter.

Deputies said the woman ordered pizza and the bill came out to $33.10. After the delivery was made, Alvelo received a $2 tip, which she did not like.

Later that night, investigators say Alvelo and a man returned to the motel, both wearing facemasks.

Investigators said they forced their way into the room, attacked the victim, and later fled the scene.

According to the arrest report, investigators were able to trace the suspect’s car to her files at the pizza place she was working for.

So far, investigators have not released information on the second suspect.
