Osceola County officials to break ground on new fire station

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Osceola County fire officials will break ground on a new station Monday morning.

Station 85 will be relocated to Cypress Parkway in Poinciana.

The department said the move will allow fire crews to serve the community better.

The station will also be designed to withstand severe weather and operate as a polling location during elections.

The station should be complete by next year.
