Osceola County man claims $1M Powerball prize

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A 46-year-old Kissimmee man claimed a $1 million Powerball prize Wednesday from a drawing back in November.

Lottery officials said Carlos Del Valle’s Quick Pick ticket matches all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Power Ball number in the Nov. 7, 2022 drawing.

Officials said he purchased his winning ticket at Sunshine located at 1277 W. Hillsboro Blvd. in Deerfield Beach.

The retailer will get a $1,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
